Songs to Lift Your Spirit

Returning by popular demand, mezzo-soprano Lisa Naulls will excite and inspire us with her interpretations of spirituals and gospel music. The program will feature a wide variety of musical styles and include Gabriel Fauré’s “Cantique de Jean Racine,” “Stand By Me” as performed at the recent royal wedding, “The Prayer” by Carole Bayer Sager, and music by such composers as John Rutter, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, and others. Selections in honor of St. Patrick’s Day and a patriotic segment will also be part of this program meant to inspire and set your spirit singing.
Lisa Naulls has been a member of the Los Angeles Chamber Singers and the Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers and has toured the United States, Asia, Israel, Europe, and South America. She has been a featured soloist in such venues as the Verizon Amphitheatre, the OC Performing Arts Center, Hollywood Bowl and Carnegie Hall, and has sung with numerous philharmonic orchestras including those in Hawaii, Berlin, and Vienna. Ms. Naulls was the guest soloist at the State Capitol for California’s official September 11th Remembrance Day She is widely acclaimed for her beautiful rich voice and has a repertoire ranging from opera to popular music. She currently resides and coaches private voice in Laguna Niguel, CA., and is the alto soloist for St. John Chrysostom Episcopal Church in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Concert begins at 3 p.m. and will be held at the Lake Forest Sun and Sail Club 24752 Toledo Way, Lake Forest, California.
